Pre & Post Insanity...

1977

Tim Vs formed the band The Strangers, touring London and the Southeast, working with other local bands 'The Chefs' (Paul Heaton - Beautiful South) and 'Disattack (Norman Cook aka Fat Boy Slim).


1979

Devastated by the death of Sid Vicious and the complete demise of punk in favour of scooters and the clean cut generation, Tim decided the band had it's day.


1983

One child on and never leaving his love of punk, Tim decided to combat the then Glam neatness to get a punk/goth orientated bad off the ground - Darc Attix. Formed with Rocky Horror Picture Show dancer 'Stance' and 3 other weirdo's, they toured the clubs and sex joints of London. Playing various haunts with the likes of Alien Sec Fiend and 'Specimen'. The band became involved with then Tran-band The Mystery Girls associating with the likes of Martin Degville late of Sigue Sigue Sputnik.

1991

Fueled by the growing conflicts in Britain's inner cities, Tim Vs co-authors a book Decade Of Disorder. Not knowing that the book would create uproar, he is then thrust into the media spotlight being labeled enemy of the state by the Star newspaper and pilloried by the Sun newspaper and most of the other nationals - anarchy in the UK?

Following many invitations to speak, Tim Vs receives a call from satirical cartoonist Gerald Scarfe famed for Pink Floyds 'The Wall' andWalt Disney's 'Hercules'. He asks Tim to do a program for the BBC entitled 'Scarfe On Class'.


1992/93

Never losing his love of punk, Tim Vs holds auditions to form a new band with very little success. He is then contacted by old friends mainly drunks and misfits. The band not being able to come up with a suitable name call themselvesUK Pubs. After a very bad festival appearance in Spain the band were booed off stage whilst being very intoxicated. Given a second chance the next day the band win over the crowd and succeed in their reputation. The festivals aptly rename the and Los Pariliticos.


1993

The band march on supporting such bands as 999, UK Subs, GBH etc


1994

The band goes up the rankings around the UK releasing their first EP 'The Hell Tapes' on the Def label. The band at this stage is Tim Vs - vocals, Graeme Hills - bass, Simon Bidwell - guitar, and Terry Hanley - drums. The bands growing demands take their toll and Simon and Terry wanting Graeme out, Phill Hod ex-Quireboys is brought in on bass.


1995

Europe calls and fears steps in with added obligations for Simon ........ he leaves. Steve Harriot former Duffo guitarist joins. Whilst rehearsing the band are interrupted by a woman stating"yeah, great kick-ass punk", this woman turned out to be Suzi Quatro now a fan.


1996

The band loses Terry so session drummers are used. This was a slow period for the band with Britain sinking under a sea of Rave and indie/Britpop. The band then suffers the loss of Phil and Steve who both go their separate ways. After a serious drinking session Tim Vs meets Wurzel of Motorhead who's side band Gangshow just split. Wurzel joins the band on lead guitar promoting the return of Simon Bidwell and Graeme Hills, plus new recruit on drums - Mark Harrison, former Bernie Torme Band.

The band releases their first album Drunks Not Dead again on the Def label. Again demand grows and Wursel leaves to change tact and learns landscaping, his other love. Again Simon leaves, 2 weeks prior to a European tour. Drafted in is a band friend Jon Ellriaz a local hardcore guitarist, the band do well and establish themselves further.


1997

The band travel back to the UK with headlining gigs and tour with band s like The Drones and X-Ray Specs. The band is asked to appear at the prestigious Dynamo Festival, which they take by storm. Jon not having the heart for punk leaves the band.


1998/99

With many shows and tours under their belts and Europe dates rolling in the band draft in former Italian punks fiats Wretched guitarist Luca and former Crazy Jane drummer Ian Norman or Unormal as he was commonly known. The band carry on supportingSpizz Energi on tour, then make a return appearance at the Dynamo festival with Machine Head and Sweden's Clawfinger. The band ends 98 with supported to One Way System, Vice Squad and Special Duties. Their guitarist Luca becomes unreliable and is given the boot. In comes Duncan George and Toby. The band enters 99 with supporting Menace on a few dates.


1999

The band kicks off the summer by playing at the Hullem Festival in Hungary. The band then release their 2nd album on the Ministry Of Noize label 'Pain In The Arse', the album received mixed reviews, more good than bad.

Seeing punks becoming more detached from it's origins of attitude Tim Vs approaches Mark P (Sniffin Glue) and Charlie and Noel from Menace to form a charity fundraising group Punk Aid, to later become official. A 3 day festival kicks off at Westcliffe On Sea with Los Paraliticos alongside the likes of UK Subs, Demented Are Go, Eddie And The Hot Rods, Menace, ATV, Spizzenergi, Napalm Death and many more.

Following the departure of Toby the band draft in Rick Collings former bass guitar of Johnny and Jimmy Lydons '4 Be 2's'. The band tour Europe to promote the album and whilst leaving the Slovak border they are promptly arrested by the police on charges of Drug Smuggling only to be released later with an apology.... amazing.


2000

The band decided to take some time out to reenergize doing just a few shows in the summer in and around London. The bands next major appearance is the Punk Aid Festival this time at the Garage in London, alongside such acts as John Otway, Attila The Stockbroker, Chelsea, Sex Pistol's - Glen Matlock and many more. The band has now come to the stage that time has taken it's toll and so a new chapter has opened. The form this has taken is that the band has gone completely mad and has been certified thus now being named as;

and so ushers in a new band with the minds and manner of the slightly odd!
